Ichiros Malt Wine Wood Reserve Pure Malt Japanese Whisky

Nose: 

Freshly cut pears and apples, red wine notes appear showing sweet red berries a touch of marzipan and star anise.

Palate: 

More of the red berries and the freshness of the pears and apples. The oak is very evident and well balance through the mouth. There are some really delicate spices here perhaps white pepper, also some freshly grated nutmeg. There’s now little touches of coconut and milk chocolate. Like a berry infused bounty bar!

Finish: 

There’s the white pepper again and milk chocolate also some liquorice that’s creeping in.
