Situated in the Aÿ commune within the Champagne region, the esteemed Champagne House Henri Giraud has deep-rooted origins. The Giraud-Hémart family's lineage in Aÿ dates back to 1625, rendering it the oldest Champagne House under continuous family management. However, it was only when Claude Giraud assumed leadership in 1983 that the family enterprise underwent a transformative evolution. Embracing a fresh perspective, he propelled the business into new dimensions.

Encompassing ten hectares of vineyards, spanning across 35 distinct plots, the Champagnes produced by Henri Giraud derive from their own grapes as well as carefully selected purchases from familial and friendly sources. The vineyard practices sustainable viticulture, holding certification as a testament to their commitment to high environmental value (HVE). A pivotal shift occurred in 2016 when Henri Giraud embraced a departure from conventional stainless steel tanks, opting instead for small oak barrels sourced from the Argonne forest, positioned between Champagne and the Vosges.

The "MV" designation signifies "Multi Vintage," grounded in three fundamental pillars: limited yields, modest containers, and the intrinsic grape varieties.
